My journey thus far...
I have been where you are, feeling discouraged and a little bit hopeless. I'm here to tell you that you're not "crazy" and there is indeed hope.
While in college I experienced some unexplained digestive issues and after being put through a plethora of tests, I was left with no answers. I was told that I was "fine." I knew that the symptoms I was experiencing were not "fine" or ok. I had to take my health into my own hands. It wasn’t until I explored the world of holistic wellness and made some dietary changes that I started to feel better.
I always knew that health and wellness were something that I would be a part of. After six years of working in the pharmaceutical industry I decided it was time to follow my heart and I went back to school for a Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health. I learned a lot about how we can use food to feel better. I also learned that there is so much more to our health.
As an Integrative Nutritionist I specialize in gut health and hormonal health. I specialize in helping people get back to feeling their best. I work with clients on nourishing the body, mind, and the spirit. I use food along with select herbs and supplements to help support and strengthen the physical body. I also include joyful movement, mindfulness, and stress reducing practices to nourish the mind and spirit.
When I’m not working, I enjoy taking walks with my bulldog Franklin. My husband and I also love exploring the beautiful surrounding area on hikes, our bikes, and in our side-by-side.

Meet the office dog, Franklin D. Tanklin. He enjoys belly rubs, ice cubes, and short, brisk walks. Every once in a while he likes to make an appearance during our appointments by either pawing at me or snoring loudly in the background.
