About

From a very young age, I knew I wanted to make a difference. I’ll never forget hearing a St. Jude Children's Research Hospital radiothon on the radio as a little girl. I remember thinking, "How unfair that children get cancer!" and immediately knew: I want to help patients with cancer one day.
That passion led me to college, determined to pursue a career in cancer research. However, during those years, I began experiencing persistent digestive health issues that conventional doctors couldn’t quite figure out. It wasn’t until I sought help from alternative therapy practitioners that I finally found relief and a new perspective on healing.
After graduation, I entered the world of pre-clinical trial pharmaceutical research, believing I was on the path to making a meaningful impact. Yet again, my health presented challenges that traditional medicine struggled to address. It was a local acupuncturist who made me feel truly heard, safe, and empowered. She helped me get to the root of my health concerns.
Over six years in pharmaceutical research, I began to see the cracks in the system. The focus wasn’t truly on healing people — it was on meeting financial goals. Data was often shaped to satisfy the needs of companies, not patients. I felt like just another cog in a very big, exhausting machine. Eventually, I knew I couldn’t be part of it anymore.
I realized my true calling was not in pharmaceuticals, but in the field of alternative and holistic health. In my practice people come first, and healing means addressing the whole person.
Today, I am passionate about helping others find the answers, hope, and healing they deserve through nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle changes.
Meet the office dog, Franklin D. Tanklin. He enjoys belly rubs, ice cubes, and short, brisk walks. Every once in a while he likes to make an appearance during our appointments by either pawing at me or snoring loudly in the background.
